This template may be used on Wiktionary entry pages to quote William Morris and Alfred John Wyatt's work The Tale of Beowulf, Sometime King of the Folk of the Weder Geats (new edition, 1898); the 1st edition (Hammersmith, Middlesex : Kelmscott Press, 1895; →OCLC) is not currently available online. The template can be used to create a link to an online version of the work at the Internet Archive.
The template takes the following parameters:

–
|1=
or |chapter=
to specify the chapter number in uppercase Roman numerals, and |chaptername=
the name of the chapter.|1=

or |page=
, or |pages=
– mandatory in some cases: the page number(s) quoted from in Arabic or lowercase Roman numerals, as the case may be. If quoting a range of pages, note the following:
|pages=10–11
or |pages=v–vi
.|pageref=

, |text=
, or |passage=

– use |brackets=on
to surround a quotation with brackets. This indicates that the quotation either contains a mere mention of a term (for example, "some people find the word manoeuvre hard to spell") rather than an actual use of it (for example, "we need to manoeuvre carefully to avoid causing upset"), or does not provide an actual instance of a term but provides information about related terms.{{RQ:Morris Wyatt Beowulf|chapter=XVI|chaptername=Hrothgar Giveth Gifts to Beowulf|page=58|passage=Then bow’d unto bench there the '''abounders''' in riches / And were fain of their fill.}}
