Documentation for Template:auto-glossary. [edit]
This page contains usage information, categories, interwiki links and other content describing the template.

This template can be used to automatically generate a glossary using information from a particular category. It uses MediaWiki:Gadget-AutoGlossary.js to scrape categories and definitions, which allows it to exceed the normal post-expand include size limits.

Parameters

The template takes the following parameters:

|1= (required)
The language code.
|2= or |cat= (required)
The category to display in the glossary.
|inline-only=
If set to anything, the template only displays definitions which contain the category on the same line. This essentially makes the glossary much more conservative in what it displays.
|label=
Currently unused. In the past it would filter lines based off of the text in the label.
