Usage

This template creates a declension table for Lower Sorbian masculine nouns ending in -a. This group is called class 41 in both Jannasch's Deutsch-niedersorbisches Wörterbuch/Słownik němsko-delnjoserbski and Starosta's Dolnoserbsko-nimski słownik/Niedersorbisch-deutsches Wörterbuch, hence the name.

It takes two obligatory parameters:

  • the first part of the noun stem (i.e. all except the final stem consonant(s) and the -a)
  • the final consonant(s) before the -a. If the stem ends in one of the following pairs of consonants, put both consonants here (otherwise put only the final consonant before the -a):
    • zd
    • zg
    • ch
    • st
    • dz

For example, at šołta, add:
