he-adj form

Synopsis

This template is used to create the inflection line — the line right below the heading — in entries for Hebrew adjective forms, other than the masculine-singular-indefinite form, i.e. the lemma form (which uses {{he-adj}}). It should be used in combination with {{he-adj form of}} in the definition line.

Parameters

The template takes four mandatory parameters:

  • tr= — a transliteration of the headword into the Latin alphabet, as described at Wiktionary:About Hebrew. If this is omitted, the article is added to Category:Requests for transliteration of Hebrew terms.
  • wv=, synonymously head= — the headword with vowels, for display purposes. If the headword consists of multiple words, this parameter allows each individual word to be linkified; to display vowels in this case, pipe-links must be used.
  • pausal, pausalwv, pausaltr — respectively, the Biblical Hebrew pausal form without vowels (if it differs from the current pagename), the same with vowels, and the same in transliteration

Example

At קלה, this wiki-code:

{{he-adj-form|wv=קַלָּה|tr=kalá}}

# {{he-adj form of|קל|tr=kal|g=f|n=s|s=i}}.

produces this output:

קַלָּה (kalá)

  1. feminine singular indefinite form of קל (kal).
