Purpose

The template generates a table with the conjugation of a Kazakh verb.

Important

This template should only be used for Kazakh verbs whose stem ends on a consonant. For verbs with stems ending on a vowel, use {{kk-conj-v}}.

Parameters

The template has six parameters, three of them are obligatory.

  • 1 = The stem (this may include stems with unvoiced consonants, or alternative stem as in қорқу (qorqu) — қорық-.)
  • 2 = The last vowel in the stem
  • 3 = The last consonant in the stem
  • 4 = The stem before a vowel (optional)
  • 5 = The indirect distal past stem (optional)
  • 6 = The aorist stem (optional, replaced by parameter 4 + parameter 2). This used if the verb ends in -ю (back vowel), since this template cannot change -йа to -я.
