This template is placed on a page (whether in mainspace or elsewhere) to indicate that someone thinks the page should be moved to a different title. It uses {{request box}}
to display a notice on the page, linking to a discussion at Wiktionary:Requests for moves, mergers and splits about the proposed move. It automatically categorizes the page in Category:Pages to be moved (unless parameters specify otherwise).
Note that uncontroversial page moves (to fix typos, for example) do not need to be discussed and can just be performed, so this template is not to be used in such cases.

|sort=
(optional)
- The sort key to use when categorizing. This usually does not need to be specified.
