This template is used to format the head word (in bold) and the categories for Neapolitan nouns. As with other templates of this type, please do not use subst:
. It takes the following parameters
- 1: the gender, such as m (masculine) f (feminine) and n (neuter). No default, mandatory
- 2: the stem for the plural, usually the head word minus the final vowel. When 2=-, noun displays as uncountable
- pl: the plural, overriding the automatic plural ({{{2}}}e)
- pl2: a second plural
- f: feminine singular form
- fpl: feminine plural form, by default the same as the masculine plural form
