To me this template is definitely useful but does not appear at the right place. To me (new to the wiktionary) "利润 (Intermediate Mandarin) profit" is not clear, it sound somewhat like "it is a clumsy word used by non native but if you were a native you would not use it). Wouldn't it be clearer to put it in the usage note and have a text like: "this words is considered part of the Chinese intermediate vocabulary" by the Hanyu shuiping kaoshi.
