@Danny lost: when you edit a template or module, there's an extra part below the edit window that lets you preview a page that transcludes the template or module, with the current revision. For old edits, you would go to the diff in question, click on edit, and preview in the way I just mentioned.
I can tell you what the problem is, though: you're incorporating the pagename into a URL, but when the pagename contains a space that means you're creating a URL with a space in it, and the module won't let you do that (if it did, you would be linking to only the part before the space).
