First up, thanks for collaborating with me on this! And, as always, for your tireless work on WOTD. I have a question about BFCT. You added use |folio=2nd in a few parts. I assume that means that bit of text needs to be added to the entries when quoting it. Wouldn't it be easier to make it automatic? I'm purely thinking about ways to make my editing faster...--Nueva normalidad (talk) 10:19, 20 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

@Nueva normalidad: actually, after I added those comments, what you mentioned above did occur to me so I have already updated the template so it automatically figures out if a play only appears in the 2nd folio. However, this won't work for plays appearing in both folios. If there are differences between the versions appearing in the 1st and 2nd folios (and I don't know if there are), and an editor cites from the 2nd folio rather than the 1st, |folio=2nd must be specified. — SGconlaw (talk) 10:27, 20 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Template:RQ:Beaumont Fletcher Comedies and Tragedies revisited

Hi. Can you add a bit to Template:RQ:Beaumont Fletcher Comedies and Tragedies for The Pilgrim? For a quote at smug Darren X. Thorsson (talk) 23:55, 7 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Ditto with The Woman's Prize for the quote at rider, The Country for chined, and The Knight of Malta at unnapped (weird it doesn't show the date, as it is in the template...). Same thing happens with The Laws of Candy at successary. Darren X. Thorsson (talk) 10:38, 9 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Darren X. Thorsson:
  • Done Done: I've added The Pilgrim and The Woman's Prize.
  • There's no such play as The Country; you mean The Custom of the Country.
  • The problem with The Knight of Malta and The Laws of Candy was that you had capitalized Of.

Needs a bit for Lover's Progress, for quote at agentship and frolicly Jonely Mash (talk) 19:04, 6 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Jonely Mash: my responses:
  • I added "The Lovers' Progress", "The Masque of the Inner Temple and Gray's Inn", "Thierry and Theodoret", and "A Wife for a Month" to the quotation template.
  • "The Triumph of Love" is part of "Four Plays in One" by Nathan Field and John Fletcher; it appears in the first Beaumont and Fletcher folio.
  • "The Widow" is by Thomas Middleton, not Beaumont and Fletcher. The 1st edition is not available online; have applied an 1840 version.
  • "Thierry and Theodoret" appears in the second Beaumont and Fletcher folio, but according to "w:Thierry and Theodoret" this version is missing a substantial portion of the conclusion. I created {{RQ:Beaumont et al Thierry and Theodoret}} and used that instead.
  • The quotation at prospective is from the 1st edition of "The Masque of the Inner Temple and Gray's Inn" (not available online) and doesn't appear in the Beaumont and Fletcher folios, so I've applied an 1811 version.
