New template is being constructed, and will work as other verb templates work, i.e., this will be the basic template on which other Swahili templates will work. The indexing will be added shortly.

New Template (2011) -- Update

The new template will work definitively with all but four Swahili verbs:

  1. kwenda (to go) (several concord issues, and an irregular imperative)
  2. kwisha (to end) (several concord issues, and an irregular imperative)
  3. kuja (to come) (the Imperative, only, is irregular)
  4. kuleta (to bring) (the Imperative, only, is irregular)
  5. kuwa (to be) (defective in Swahili)

I will have to work on an alternate template to address the five other verbs.

New Template (2011) -- Update 2

The base template now will work with all verbs except "kuwa" and "kuwa na". That verb will be conjugated in its own template.
