That sure sounds like a couple of bugs to me. I'm interested enough in CodeCat's talk page to add it to my watchlist; changes to the talk page not showing as changes to the page breaks this functionality. However, I'm *not* interested enough in *every single thread* on CodeCat's talk page that I feel like I should be getting new message notifications on each update.
If everyone adds Liquid Threads to their talk pages,
- the new messages notification feature would be completely unusable and a major source of noise.
- there would be no utility in watching user talk pages.
