Our younger-generation today is susceptible to much more then mature adults, or those of an earlier-generation, are lead to believe. Apple's iPod, and other portable MP3 players; is the most essential item for people of all sorts. The Apple Corporation has sold over 141 million units worldwide, as of January 2008, and has accumulated a profit of 106 million dollars and a growing in profit. (Not to mention the 500,000 to one million iTune users; and the sales from music downloads.) You can not go to a middle or high school without seeing an iPod earphone (or "earbuds") in the student’s ear. Not to mention the newest edition, the iPhone. Ipods have easily become the newest trend of the decade. This new invention has become a new trend in our youths and young’s struggle to find there identity; In hopes of defining themselves as to others and themselves.
