I'm looking for another Alemannic/Swiss German word, for "running"/"jogging", something like "säckeln"? I heard this but can't find it, maybe spelled differently. Thanks! Jberkel 16:54, 4 January 2023 (UTC)
German is obviously not my mother tongue, but thanks for the embellishments on the articles. ADDSamuels (talk) 19:25, 22 January 2023 (UTC)
There are too many "vegans" saying it's vegan to eat meat and animal products as long as you don't pay for it. That's why I added the quote. There are people who call themselves vegan while eating eggs from their own backyard chickens. Hell, there are even non-vegan dumpster divers calling themselves vegans! They think the second definition of 'exploit' applies to all animals. 2601:282:C00:ABB0:DA:1F46:B4F6:1162 14:27, 24 January 2023 (UTC)
I couldn't use {{tr-verb form of}}
to define istiyorum. It reported an error because it didn't recognize the ending. Perhaps the suffix's odd habit of replacing the last vowel is confusing. Vox Sciurorum (talk) 16:10, 12 April 2023 (UTC)
{{tr-verb form of}}
. The reason is that I didn't want to encourage editors to create entries such as istiyorum. See Wiktionary:About_Turkish#Inflected_forms_of_verbs and Wiktionary_talk:About_Turkish#Which_verb_forms_to_delete?. — Fytcha〈 T | L | C 〉 11:23, 27 August 2024 (UTC)Dear interface administrator,
This is Samuel from the Security team and I hope my message finds you well.
There is an ongoing discussion on a proposed policy governing the use of external resources in gadgets and UserJS. The proposed Third-party resources policy aims at making the UserJS and Gadgets landscape a bit safer by encouraging best practices around external resources. After an initial non-public conversation with a small number of interface admins and staff, we've launched a much larger, public consultation to get a wider pool of feedback for improving the policy proposal. Based on the ideas received so far, the proposed policy now includes some of the risks related to user scripts and gadgets loading third-party resources, best practices for gadgets and UserJS developers, and exemptions requirements such as code transparency and inspectability.
As an interface administrator, your feedback and suggestions are warmly welcome until July 17, 2023 on the policy talk page.
Have a great day!Samuel (WMF), on behalf of the Foundation's Security team 23:02, 7 July 2023 (UTC)
Please create this page as a redirect to Special:Search. It's useful for anyone coming from the French Wiktionary by conducting an unsuccessful search there and then swapping "en" for the "fr" URL prefix. Urhixidur (talk) 17:41, 8 August 2023 (UTC)
