{{fi-verb}}
Hi, I'm not sure what you're asking? That last page I created did use the {{fi-verb}}
template. Öljylautta 02:30, 27 March 2011 (UTC)
Doesn't really need to be plural friendly. Not sure if Estonian nouns have principal parts as such, but the only reason I put mehed on mees is so I wouldn't forget they were connected :) Eventually, I don't care if only "mees" is in the headline, but I don't think we currently have declension templates for Estonian. — Laurent — 02:29, 31 March 2011 (UTC)
We're missing the obvious one - Venice. Then the sestieri, Veneto and Italy please. SemperBlotto 15:18, 1 June 2011 (UTC)
Hi there. I am going to modify my Italian bot to handle Venetian noun plurals as well as Italian ones. So there will be no need to add them manually. Cheers. SemperBlotto 18:42, 2 June 2011 (UTC)
kind of you to help. --Giantsinger41 12:02, 11 June 2011 (UTC)
Do you know why is it deleted? 2.25.191.81 03:40, 12 June 2011 (UTC)
Note my changes here. ---> Tooironic 08:56, 22 June 2011 (UTC)
Please input only one kanji per parameter of {{ja-kanjitab}}
. The code {{ja-kanjitab|固|有|名詞}}
, which you introduced in this edit, is wrong.
That template is a a list of kanjis, not of etymological roots. I don't know whether {{ko-hanjatab}}
follows strictly the same rule. --Daniel 17:40, 24 June 2011 (UTC)
{{ja-kanjitab}}
has changed a bit :). The template now automatically parses out the kanji from the page title. Instead, now please input the readings of each kanji, before any sandhi. More at {{ja-kanjitab}}
in the template's documentation. ‑‑ Eiríkr Útlendi │ Tala við mig 21:09, 11 April 2014 (UTC)Howdy. Yes 휴식 is a noun. As you noticed, I am indeed a new user. So that was just an early careless error on my part. Thanks for the correction. :) Striker 0901 21:19, 24 June 2011 (UTC)
Using the "edit summary" of some page to ask questions to me is not a good idea, because I may not even notice that. Nonetheless, I noticed this time. Now to the answer. Basically...
{{delete}}
to a page to be deleted, and wait for administrators to finish the job. --Daniel 05:55, 29 June 2011 (UTC)Helloho. You edited fördęm and added vördęm as an alternative form. As far as I can see, there are not so many Low German editors on Wiktionary so far, but I would prefer if the pages would only give those forms as "alternative forms" which have a different pronunciation. One could think about adding the Dutch form even if it has the same pronunciation to show that it is the same language in more than one country. But due to the total lack of a standard orthography, noting every other spelling (and of every form) could fill a page with several dozens of forms, which I would find disadvantageous for a dictionary.(overview) Hence, at least until a greater mass of authors appears which strongly vote for something else, it would be nice if we could keep it as common practice, if alternative forms were those with different pronunciation and alternative-spelling-ofs would only link to the standard page.Dakhart 16:06, 10 July 2011 (UTC)
Hey could you please help me with adding spaces between different paragraphs in entries?
I'm not sure why you made that last change - it was a link to de:wikipedia, and (since the term doesn't have an english entry) to en:wikipedia? —Saltmarshtalk-συζήτηση 05:16, 13 July 2011 (UTC)
Why are you doing this? Maro 23:28, 15 July 2011 (UTC)
{{infl}}
template with language specific {{pl-noun}}
. --Lo Ximiendo 23:35, 15 July 2011 (UTC)
{{pl-noun}}
is ultimately just a redirect to {{infl}}
. -- Gauss 07:06, 17 July 2011 (UTC)
{{pl-noun}}
gives links to Category:Polish (insert gender) nouns. --Lo Ximiendo 07:08, 17 July 2011 (UTC)
Could you just tag them with {{delete}}
, the current practice is to speedy delete these, not 'debate' them. --Mglovesfun (talk) 16:57, 22 July 2011 (UTC)
So I think somewhere at some point there was a vote to not use the asterisk in categorization anymore. It kinda pissed me off because I liked using it, but I just figured you might like to know about that. I'm sure you can find it in the vote archive if you'd like to see it. *returns to work grumbling about this crappy vote* — — 14:32, 6 August 2011 (UTC)
Hi, I have edited the page to clarify that the pen in question is the writing implement. Cheers, BigDom 20:43, 12 August 2011 (UTC)
I have spied you going through some of my entries and adding categories. I usually don't bother with this, largely because I can't remember what categories exist, but I think at least the broader kinds of category are useful (a traditional dictionary can't answer "what kinds of dog are there?"), so thanks for that. Equinox ◑ 22:25, 13 August 2011 (UTC)
Hello! I wasn't aware that we had Template:eo-proper-noun. I noticed your recent contributions, and just wanted to say thanks for correcting all of the Esperanto entries that were using the wrong templates. Happy birthday! :-) Tempodivalse 02:10, 14 August 2011 (UTC)
Please stop categorizing with | ]] now. — — 11:44, 14 August 2011 (UTC)
are you kidding? 88.123.102.25 18:51, 29 August 2011 (UTC)
I see... I can't add things in Estonian of which I am sure, but you can add things in Azeri of which you... aren't? I've noticed your question marks in edit summaries. — — 18:05, 17 September 2011 (UTC)
Sorry, but i must decline. I have many things to do here and I'm stiil recovering from that six-months with no internet. Also the connection isn't that helpful. Thanks for thinking of me though--Omar35880 22:32, 10 October 2011 (UTC)
It is extremely unhelpful to just slap on the cleanup template. I don't see anything wrong with the entry. Njardarlogar 12:58, 23 October 2011 (UTC)
{{cleanup}}
. I hope this answers something. --Lo Ximiendo 03:57, 24 October 2011 (UTC)
I don't know what to call it; but to my understanding, sagaøya is not used with a capital letter s. I guess it is similar to referring to e.g. the only city in an otherwise rural area as 'the city'. Njardarlogar 08:54, 25 October 2011 (UTC)
Hi Lo. Do you want to be an administrator here? I could set up a vote for you if you like --Rockpilot 05:24, 13 November 2011 (UTC)
Since I'm high-functioning autistic, I feel uncertain about it. (I've been taught in my high school careers class that uncertainty can have surprises, though.) --Lo Ximiendo 05:50, 13 November 2011 (UTC)
Before I vote, can I ask how old you are? I discriminate based on age — — 16:56, 13 November 2011 (UTC)
At some point I have to ask you how to use that, I can think of some times where it would be ridiculously useful lol
Thanks for your edit of i kpa mo pɛ. As is probably obvious, I don't (yet) know much about templates and categories, so have been trying to learn more by disecting your edit. Am I correct that the ada-phrase template automatically puts the entry into Category:Adangme phases without me specifically adding it? Do all the other part-of-speech templates do similarly? How would I know this by looking at the template code? Is there a central resource which I can read to find how the code syntax works? Thanks, --Enginear 21:14, 20 November 2011 (UTC)
{{ada-phrase}}
does put the entry into the Adangme phrases category. {{en-noun}}
puts an entry into the English nouns category, for example, as does {{en-verb}}
into the English verbs category. They overcome the template {{infl}}
. Examples of categories for topics are Category:en:Hair, Category:en:Face, Category:en:Sleep, Category:en:Mammals, Category:en:Greek mythology, etc. As for the code syntax central resource, I wish I could answer that, but I'm thinking there are others who can do that well. (How's my answer? I've been nominated for administrator and I want to know how I did.) --Lo Ximiendo 21:56, 20 November 2011 (UTC)
Hi, Lo Ximiendo, your vote has passed, you are an Admin. Please add your name to WT:Admin. Also, see Help:Sysop tools. —Stephen (Talk) 00:02, 29 November 2011 (UTC)

Can you tell me what {{infl|en|noun}}
template does? Rockin291 08:08, 18 December 2011 (UTC)
{{infl}}
, which is versatile with parts of speech ({{infl|en|noun}}
= {{en-noun}}
, for example). --Lo Ximiendo 08:13, 18 December 2011 (UTC)Thanks for the info. And do help format the article in anyway possible, will appreciate it. Rockin291 08:29, 18 December 2011 (UTC)
