Hi, asking for your opinion: as a native, do you find this edit useful? Should we introduce normal speech/careful speech in the future? Thanks Chihunglu83 (talk) 03:13, 4 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
- Technically correct, but the word "normal" is kind of misleading. In many Tosk dialects they do pronounce the ending "ë". On pronunciation point of view, the standard language follows Gheg, so "ë" falls down.
- So I would say yes, but can we use "colloquial" instead of "normal"? Mondiad2 (talk) 03:23, 4 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
- sounds legit, changed. Chihunglu83 (talk) 03:30, 4 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
Hi, I can't think of words ending in -ol at the moment, like the one you put in sjapole. Is this a regional suffix? Would you mind adding this suffix as well? Btw, here's the official WT:Discord if you are interested, where you can ask questions if you're unsure about things. Thanks for contributing in Albanian entries and happy editing!:) Chihunglu83 (talk) 02:43, 8 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
- Hi.
- A guess: probably and endearment suffix. Similar to óç/e in kanoçe. I also see kapole.
- Cabej has it as sjapol/-e, so it is real. Not sure of etymology. I can add it if you think it's worth. Thanks Mondiad2 (talk) 03:21, 8 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
