In general, I'm bothered by this, particularly that this could turn into a popularity contest. I also feel like my edits have been exaggerated by the OP and by Benwing, and a few things here need to be cleared up or pointed out: Indefs are generally only appropriate for vandalism or sockpuppetry and neither is behind alleged here. Starting an indef request when somebody feels harassed seems like a bad idea. It can wait until the feeling of harassment dies down. Starting an indef request BECAUSE somebody feels harassed (and that is, in the main, PUC's comment) is a worse one. Is that the message you want to be sending? If people feel harassed, they should be allowed to say so. Making an editor feel harassed and then suggested he be blocked for saying so seems like something out of some dystopian novel Purplebackpack89 IS CLEARLY HERE to build a Wiktionary, as he has created 636 entries A large portion of what is mentioned here is from 2014 and therefore isn't germane to 2024. It's especially not germane because one of the diffs doesn't even explictly reference Purplebackpack89. Benwing nominated dont tread on me for deletion...and quickly five keep votes showed up against no agreement with his deletion proposal. And that's not even touching on Denazz's trolling... Given those four things happening (#5-#8), basic psychology would suggest that Purplebackpack89 would be frustrated ...But there's no evidence of him breaking 3RR. While Purplebackpack89 discusses and disputes some of the changes, he's hasn't broken 3RR ...and many of the changes have neither been discussed NOR touched by Purplebackpack89 Many of the editors Purplebackpack89 has been dealing with have concerns expressed about their behavior by others Denazz is Wonderfool. TheKnightWho has a long list of people taking issue with his battleground mentality.
