Yes, but the user that uploaded these delbertly added these with en-us files initially, despite the fact that he's Canadian. There was a consensus that these should be renamed en-ca. They were renamed to en-ca files. I was told on mIRC by and admin named Revant that I could change these. edit: i talked to the admin and he thought I was just editing as well, sorry about that. Should of been more clear. Rezfan83 (talk) 02:08, 27 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

*To redo all of these I would have to change the IPA and rhymes to canadian. That would be so time consuming. And many of these are in different languages. I just couldn't do all of that. I'm absolutely fine with canadian pronunciations being on those pages. But I think they should be readded correctly, with the IPA's, rhymes, etc. Since these were initially added in mind that this was United States pronunciations, so much would have to be edited and readded. Not just change text to "Canadian pronunciations" The IPA and rhymes would have to be altered. If someone would want to re-add these with all the correct canadian info, I'm fine with that. The problem with this is that so many of these files are on pages with different languages and whatnot. Korean, French, Polish, German/etc/etc. It would be so time consuming to do re-add candian parts to all of these... in different languages. It would be so much much more then deleting the word US or "americcan" and replacing it with "canadian." Some of these pages hav e alot of text that I'd have to translate one by one in the native language and add all this stuff. Initially these were put on their with the idea that they were US pronunciations. I have no problem with canadian prounciations being on these pages, but I would have to retranslate all of this in diffrernt languages and that would be such a time consuming hell lol. I just think leaving as "is" is not accurate. People from all over the world view these pages, and they wouldn't be getting the correct info. If someone wants to re-add the correct IPA's and whatnot through various languages, I'm fine. I just think since these aren't accurate currently for US pronuncations, they should be removed. I don't know. I was just trying to be helpful with removing this stuff. Not trying to be destructive. All I can say is that these aren't US pronucation sounds They shouldn't be listed on these pages as US pronunciations. If someone wants to re-add canadian pronuncations to those pages, they can. They all would be for the ones that I was removing. They were all en-ca files. Not en-us files. A user uploaded en-ca files (meaning canadian pronucnations) to these pages that list them as US pronucnations. To keep them there would be wrong and innacurate.
