English rhymes on Wiktionary include the accented syllable to the end of the word: "Yemen" rhymes with "lemon", but not with "reason". Schwa ("ə") only appears in English in unaccented syllables, so any rhymes page that has it in the first or only syllable are incorrect. Hi, I've noticed that you have added some new words as Foreign Words of the Day. I appreciate your help, especially as we're running low on possible FWOTDs. However, there's a few things you should know before setting new FWOTDs in the future:
- All (Chinese) FWOTDs need a quote. It would be appreciated if you could add quotes to the FWOTDs you've added (use Template:zh-x to add quotes; quotes need to be taken from a source rather than something you have made up).
- Rather than adding FWOTDs directly for a certain date, the system is set up so you're intended to nominate FWOTDs at Wiktionary:Foreign Word of the Day/Nominations. Given the lack of FWOTDs, the ones that you have already added can stay there once they have quotes and/or citations, but it would be appreciated if you nominated any future FWOTDs rather than directly adding them.
- In general, it's a good idea to try and mix things up with FWOTDs; rather than adding FWOTDs for the same language on two consecutive or nearly-consecutive days, it's a good idea to have at least two days before featuring a FWOTD from the same language again. If you're only really interested in nominating entries in one language, then it's okay to leave gaps for other people (pretty much me right now, but hopefully more people will start nominating/adding FWOTDs) to fill. --Hazarasp (parlement · werkis) 03:55, 7 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

Please read WT:AZH/Wu to see how the Wu romanization works. Tone is not marked on every syllable because of left-prominent tone sandhi. The + sign means something particular; it's used for right-prominent tone sandhi.
