Hello, and thank you for taking an interest in contributing to Greenlandic. I moved *Kalaaleq to kalaaleq, the form seen in both Kleinschmidt, modern dictionaries, and the articles I looked at here (see also Talk:Danskeq). Also, I'm not sure the ON hypothesis is widely accepted. The source you gave only suggests it uncertainly, as I presume you know? This source (1996) also presents the notion with some reservation. Do you have some new evidence?__Gamren (talk) 17:24, 12 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
- I've only just started writing on Wiktionary yesterday, nor do I have much of an education in linguistics of any kind, so my additions are very rough. I'll be sure to give it a second thought when sourcing from now on. TriplePlusUngood (talk)
- That's quite alright, no harm done. Please don't be deterred.__Gamren (talk) 14:34, 13 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
- Oh, and don't worry about not having a linguistics education; I don't either.__Gamren (talk) 19:31, 26 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
