Proto-Yeniseian is the reconstructed ancestor of the Yeniseian languages (Ket and the extinct Arin, Assan, Kott, Pumpokol, Yug).
Currently, the transcription of phonemes in Proto-Yeniseian is taken over directly from Vajda (2022):

All Proto-Yeniseian reconstructions should feature at least two descendants or a derived term and a descendant. The current standard for listing descendants is as such:
* Northern Yeniseian: ** {{desc|ket|}} ** {{desc|yug|}} * Southern Yeniseian: ** {{desc|xrn|}} ** {{desc|xss|}} ** {{desc|zko|}} ** {{desc|xpm|}}
The main sources for Proto-Yeniseian reconstructions are works by Edward J. Vajda, including {{R:qfa-yen:Fortescue–Vajda:2022}}
