Welcome to English Wiktionary's Collaboration of the week! Each week, we hope to add new English terms or improve existing entries. This project does not deal with foreign words or translations. See Translations of the Week for that.
If you're looking for words that need extra attention, also try Cleanup of Basic English Words and Wiktionary:Requests for cleanup.
To nominate an entry as a future collaboration article, add {{COW}} to the page and it will be added to Category:COW nominations. Keep also in mind that, while virtually every word is could be a good COW candidate, it is important to think about priorities.
Upon updating, the new COW should be published in the Tea Room, and all translation sections should be commented since definitions are likely to undergo change.
Click on a word and start adding any lacking definitions and/or example sentences, synonyms, etc. Please take into account Wiktionary's formatting rules. Look at:
Collaboration of the week was briefly reactivated in August 2009 after a period of inactivity which started in late 2007; however, there was insufficient interest in the project so it was again marked as 'inactive' in September 2009.
