Translations

I've been noting that a lot of what remains on this list relates to having translations verified by native speakers. The list is sometimes fairly long, and cleaning that up may require the participation of multiple individuals. In some cases it may even be that no speaker of that language has ever set foot in this wiki empire. A large number of our translations came from people who simply copied long lists without any serious application of thought. Is there any more efficient way of dealing with these problems? I've got an idea that I can implement as part of my re-engineering of the cleanup process. Watch this space.--Richardb 09:11, 2 Dec 2004 (UTC)
