Too many categories

There are simply way too many categories to vote on and way too many options, to where I'd expect that folks would simply vote against the idea entirely like they did last year (myself included). I would attempt to cut it down and remove categories like "most absurd word of the year" by going to BP first. I'd also remove words that don't have entries yet, and I would elaborate on the "carefully crafted" part because it's not clear how these words got here. Also, Ohio has failed RFV. AG202 (talk) 16:26, 21 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thanks, I recall it being tagged for rfv at one point but missed its deletion! I trimmed the list a little bit; there is a post for this vote at the BP so if other users share your concerns they can comment it there. For now I have removed two categories and several words. The other closest ones I would axe might be Propositional phrase (for being too scarce) and Proper noun. Regarding the red-links, if a word is very prominent and passes CFI I will include it here – but it will be best for me to create a page for said entry within the week so voters can view it much quicker. (I wonder if AI music is just SOP; if I think it is during my research of the word, I will remove it). The “carefully crafted” sentence was altered.
