To correct

Please replace the project page with Wiktionary:Word of the day/Nominations/Sandbox.
Note that the entry variadic has an <s> tag improperly closed with another <s> instead of </s>, and as a result, under the new linter software, every line following variadic is struck, even though this was neither the intent nor the appearance of those lines under the old linter software. To see this, edit the sandbox page with
and on the variadic entry, remove the slash from </s> and click Show preview. Then search for variadic and see how on the right ("New"), every line after variadic is struck, while on the left, not so. Don't save the edit; this is just to help understand the issue. Replacing the project page with the sandbox will fix this problem and restore the appearance of the page to what the users intended and had seen until now.
