Its possible earliest appearance is in the 1971 article “Know Your Rights” by Murray Rothbard, who is credited with coining it^[1] and its cognate anarcho-capitalism;^[2] though the latter's earliest extant attestion is in Karl Hess's 1969 article “The Death of Politics”.^[3][4]
