nerātns (definite nerātnais, comparative nerātnāks, superlative visnerātnākais, adverb nerātni)

1. (of people, especially children) naughty, mischievous, playful (who misbehaves, does not obey; who jokes, plays pranks; who is constantly moving, making noise)

   nerātni bērni ― naughty, mischievous children

   gribas atkal kā zēnam man skriet; gribas draiskuļot, nerātnam būt... ― the desire (to be) again like a boy is coming (lit. running) to me; the desire to play pranks, to be naughty...
