     Fresh spring flowers, carefully weeded and watered, were as bright as in the merriest maiden's garden under a few junipers, firs, and rose and lilac bushes.

     If the worker, encouraged by the bonus, doubles his effort and weeds 1000 meters, then he will get 3 złote for that work, which would normally cost the landowner 4 złote.

     There she created order: she swept the paths, she loosened the earth, she weeded the flowers, uncountably many times she brought water in a bottle from the well and watered the plants.

The usual passive participle is opielony, which fits the regular paradigm of opielić; the alternative form, opełty, is rarer.
