Bulgarian ску́бя (skúbja, “to pluck, tear”), Macedonian скубе (skube)),[1] hence also Persian آشفتن (âšoftan, “to agitate”) and Sanskrit क्षुभ्यति (kṣubhyati, “to shake, be agitated”).
