     „Atkul tut pryhnała źwiezda niaszczasliwa / Hetaku brydotu?“

     Where did the unlucky star bring such ugliness here?

   • 1858, Vinceś Karatynski, Найяснѣйшаму Яго Милосьци Гаспадару Императару Александру Микалаявичу…, Wilno: Kommissja Archeologiczna Wileńska, page 2:

     Зьве́зды марга́юць: бра́тамъ ста́не па́нъ….

     The stars blink: "The master will become a brother…"

     With all my strength and swing, like a flint, I will throw it at the stars.

This isn't considered to be a correct modern Belarusian word and it's missing from the modern academic dictionaries. Its modern relevance primarily stems from being the name of the newspaper Zvyazda.
