Translation by New English Translation of the Septuagint
For my head is wet with dew, and my locks with drops of the night.
Usage notes
In Job, corresponds to Ancient Greek βῶλος(bôlos, “lump, drop”). Cox prefers the variant reading զ-շաւղ-ս(z-šawł-s) in that passage and explains it as the accusative plural of շաւիղ(šawił, “path; trace”), accordingly translating the word as "traces". But the accusative plural of շաւիղ(šawił) would be զ-շաւիղ-ս(z-šawił-s).
In the Song of Songs, corresponds to Ancient Greek ψεκάς(psekás, “drop”).
