For relevant vocalization variants, against the standard Arabic صَبِر (ṣabir, aloe) and صَبْر (ṣabr, aloe), the Andalusi dialect, which has been reckoned the most conservative of the Middle Arabic ones, used صِبْر (ṣibr) and صِبَر (ṣibar), and صَبَّار (ṣabbār), صُبَّار (ṣubbār, cactus; nonstandardly and also Andalusi aloe) is extended from this word.
