From スタバ +‎ る. The initial portion is shortened from スターバックス (Sutābakkusu, “Starbucks (coffee shop)”). Compare マクる (makuru, “eat at McDonald's (restaurant)”), お茶(ちゃ)する (ocha suru, “go out for tea”).
