  É wù zhī shè jìn, kūnjī hú bǎo zhī tōng yuǎn, hú kūn zhī suǒzài, jūn qǐng shì bì ér pìn zhī.

  Resting places for geese and ducks are near by, but jungle fowls / cranes, game cocks, swans, and bustards fly far away. I suggest you used jade bi 璧 to invite peopleliving where there are swans and jungle fowls / cranes to come to court.

Liu (1999) relates it to 鯤 (OC *kuːn, “mythical large fish”).
