Hoi, Sabine Cretella asked for cooperation with the nl:wiktionary. At this moment we have 3144 words on our wiktionary. They are mainly nouns for languages in many languages. The trick that is used is that the template used is the same for each language. The content of each template differs for each language; eg the content for {{it}} is Italiaans on nl: and Italiano on it:.

I have been so bold and added Italiano to the Italian wiktionary and added loads of translations. I have added the first content for some of the templates, these are the words that are said to be the correct Italian words on nl:.

One question I have is about capitalisation of these words and possibly the gender. I am not a linguist I am more of a programmer type. So please correct what is wrong. And have a look at the Italian words on the nl:wiktionary.

Thanks, GerardM

The list..

The list of all the templates are in GerardM/Kladblok. Obviously this list needs a better place. A link to where the list is on en: and nl: is welcome!! GerardM 18:34, Set 1, 2004 (UTC)

Christmas etc.

Thank you Gerard for following up things :-) I hope I'll have some time during the week-end to update stuff. Ciao! -- SabineCretella 07:55, Dic 8, 2004 (UTC)

Structure

Ehm... I don't know very well English, if you know Latin i can write to you in Latin. My questions are:

  • Why don't localize the templates? The template "noun", for example, isn't an English or an Italian word.
  • Where is the documentation in english? I want to translate it, because there isn't documentation available in Italian now, except of 2 pages.

I didn't know the international structure and I made an alternative structure, but there are some things to save: for example an alternative method to organise the language templates.

If you can read this text (in a very horrible English), can you send a replay in my discussion page? Thom 19:31, Dic 9, 2004 (UTC)

I want to make a documentation available in Italian, where I can find informations? Thom 13:30, Dic 10, 2004 (UTC)

Phrases

Hey, you mean in reference to the Neapolitan phrases? How do you think I should go about doing that? Should I just post the Neapolitan on the German or the English wiktionaries? My German's pretty crusty so it'd probably be the English one. I'll see what I can do, let me know if you know of another or better way to do it. Later. E. abu Filumena

I refer to Buona sera!, there I have added Goede avond, or good evening and I added Goede nacht! to Buona notte!, good night. Because I think these are correct. If the English translations would have been there I would be able to add to the other phrases. :) GerardM 12:12, Dic 29, 2004 (UTC)
Oooohh... I didn't do those, I was just correcting the templates used by 12.72.71.38, and noticed that the content didn't match up with the title... I thought you were referring to the phrases at cancaro, for example. Sorry, I couldn't be of any more help, I don't speak Sicilian. E. abu Filumena
