Vikisözlük:Köy çeşmesi/2013

Yanlış bilmiyorsam İngilizce vikisözlükte bir sözcüğün en az üç basılı kaynakta geçiyor olması şartı var. Buradaki tartışmada Sabri76 adlı yönetici "Büyük Türkçe Sözlükte bulunmayan dile yerleşmemiş bir sözcük" gerekçesiyle silme işlemi yaptığını söylemekle birlikte radyo karşılığı olduğu öne sürülen dinleç ve elektrik karşılığı ile madde başı olan yıltırık sözcüklerinde değişiklik yaptığımda onun bu işlemleri geri aldığını gördüm. Oysa bu sözcükler de Büyük Türkçe Sözlükte bulunmayan ve dile yerleşmemiş sözcüklerdi. Birincisi ben yönetici değilim. Buna vikiprojelerde hizmetlilik deniyor. "Dinleç" sözcüğünü kasım ayında sildiğimi gördüm. yıltırık adlı madde TDK sitesindeki büyük sözlükte argodaki anlamıyla kullanılmış o nedenle bu maddenin silinmesine gerek yok. Uzun süredir bu konuda geniş çaplı bir tartışma yapılmadığından TDK'yi baz almaktan başka bir şey yapmıyorum. Eğer burada tartışılırsa yeni kıstaslar belirlenirse tüm hizmetliler uygulamak durumundadır zaten. Ancak kullanıcı sıkıntısı 2 yıldır var ve bu tip geniş çaplı tartışmalara katılacak düzenli katkı yapan kullanıcı maalesef yok. Vikileri yıllardır kullanmama rağmen yönetici, bürokrat, hizmetli gibi ayrımları çok fazla bilmiyorum. Şu anda burada maddelerin silinmesi konusunda en etkin çalışan kişi olarak sizi gördüğüm için yönetici olduğunuzu düşündüm. Bana göre tek kaynak TDK BTS olmayabilir; çünkü İngilizce VikiSözlükte internet jargonu ya da adına her ne deniyorsa çoğunlukla internette kullanılan ve resmiyette kullanılmayan sözcükler de sözlüğe alınabiliyor. Türk Dil Kurumu'nun bu tür sözcükleri yakından takip edip sözlüğüne ilave ettiği konusunda şüpheliyim. Bir sözlüğün amacı o dili konuşan veya öğrenmekte olan kimselerin bir yerlerde karşılaştıkları fakat anlamını bilmedikleri sözcüklerin açıklamalarını yapmaktır. Bu bakımdan uydurma veya yanlış türetim olan sözcüklerin de sözlükte tutulması söz konusu olabilir ancak bunun belirtilmesi koşuluyla. Zaten VikiSözlükte buna benzer bir uygulama var. Örneğin internette yaygın olarak kullanılan fakat TDK BTS'de yer almayan alınık sözcüğü yanlış türetim olduğu belirtilerek VikiSözlüğe alınmış. alınık sözcüğünü hiç duymadım ama türetilişindeki doğru mantığı kabul ediyorum. Belki diğer sözlükleri de kullanabiliriz haklı olabilirsin ancak Büyük Türkçe Sözlükte bulunmayan sözcükler gibi bir kategori yoruma açık olacağından kontrolü zor olur ve herkes istediği gibi türettiği sözcükleri vikisözlüğe ekler. Yıltırık sözcüğünün "elektrik" anlamı nerede var? Bu sözcük:

• TDK Büyük Türkçe Sözlükte elektrik anlamında yok.
• Bu anlamda yaygın kullanılmakta olan bir sözcük değil.
• Google kitaplarda arama yaptığınızda "elektrik" sözcüğüne uydurma etimolojik köken olarak ortaya atıldığı görülmektedir.

Çok az bekleseydin şu an uygun zamanı bulmuş olarak cevabı yazmış olacaktım. Kimseye özel cevaplamama durumu yok. Çünkü mesajları bazen 2 ya da 3 tane biriktirdikten dolayı cevaplıyorum, zaman kısıtından dolayı... Maddeyi incelediğimde TDK Büyük Sözlük'te argo anlamıyla kullanıldığını fark edince kalmasında bir sakınca görmedim. TVT Türkçe Karşılıklar Kılavuzu'nun kayda değer olmadığını farkındayım. Bu kıstaslar uymayan maddeler halen mevcut ancak fırsat bulup bunları tarayamıyorum. En kısa zamanda fırsat bulup bu tip maddeleri temizlemeyi planlıyorum. Kısa vadede yeni açılan maddeleri ve değişiklikleri hızlıca kontrol edip bu tip maddeleri bekletmeden siliyorum. Bu tip gördüğün uydurma sözcükleri bana belirtirsen hemen silerim. Wikimedia Foundation has been working on improving performance and adding features to template pages within MediaWiki. As a result of this WMF developed a new Scribunto extension for MediaWiki which enables Lua scripting language for templates. The developers are confident about the extension's maturity and it was decided that Scribunto is going to be deployed to this wiki in the first batch. There is a new request for comment on Meta-Wiki concerning the removal of administrative rights from long-term inactive Wikimedians. Generally, this proposal from stewards would apply to wikis without an administrators' review process.

We are also compiling a list of projects with procedures for removing inactive administrators on the talk page of the request for comment. Feel free to add your project(s) to the list if you have a policy on administrator inactivity.

All input is appreciated. The discussion may close as soon as 21 May 2013 (2013-05-21), but this will be extended if needed.

Hi Infovarius,

• Kategori:Türkçe is the main category for the Turkish language and should link to en:Category:Turkish language (which is also the main category). All subcategories of Kategori:Tüm diller are also main categories of a particular language.
• Kategori:Türkçe sözcükler is a subcategory of Kategori:Türkçe, and lists all words in the Turkish language; there is no equivalent in the English wiktionary for this category, only some wiktionaries have a similar category, e.g. pt:Categoria:!Entrada (Turco), sv:Kategori:Turkiska/Alla uppslag, vo:Klad:Pads valik in Türkänapük. If a certain wiktionary doesn't have such an "all words" category, then there should not be an interwiki to that wiktionary. The same applies to all subcategories of Kategori:Sözcükler.

This is how it should be, but as you may have noticed, the interwikis are not always correct. It will take a while to clean them up. (Correcting interwikis locally here at tr.wiktionary isn't enough: the interwiki changes would need to be made to all wiktionaries to prevent/end interwiki conflicts.) -- Curious (mesaj) 19:18, 3 Temmuz 2013 (UTC)

Hello, Sorry for English but It's very important for bot operators so I hope someone translates this. Pywikipedia is migrating to Git so after July 26, SVN checkouts won't be updated If you're using Pywikipedia you have to switch to git, otherwise you will use out-dated framework and your bot might not work properly. There is a manual for doing that and a blog post explaining about this change in non-technical language. Notifications will inform users about new activity that affects them on this wiki in a unified way: for example, this new tool will let you know when you have new talk page messages, edit reverts, mentions or links -- and is designed to augment (rather than replace) the watchlist. The Wikimedia Foundation's editor engagement team developed this tool (code-named 'Echo') earlier this year, to help users contribute more productively to MediaWiki projects.

We're now getting ready to bring Notifications to almost all other Wikimedia sites, and are aiming for a 22 October deployment, as outlined in this release plan. It is important that notifications is translated for all of the languages we serve.

There are three major points of translation needed to be either done or checked:

• Echo on translatewiki for user interface - you must have an account on translatewiki to translate
• Thanks on translatewiki for user interface - you must have an account on translatewiki to translate
• Notifications help on mediawiki.org. This page can be hosted after translation on mediawiki.org or we can localize it to this Wikipedia. You do not have to have an account to translate on mediawiki, but single-user login will create it for you there if you follow the link.
