Almost always an epithet of Odysseus; once (Iliad 21:355) of Hephaestus.
Found only in the singular, and usually in the nominative masculine. The genitive singular masculine πολυμήτιος (polumḗtios) and dative singular feminine πολυμήτιδι (polumḗtidi) are attested.
