oft-forgiving, Acceptor of Repentance (God)
- 609–632 CE, Qur'an, 110:3:
  فَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ وَاسْتَغْفِرْهُ إِنَّهُ كَانَ تَوَّابًا
  fasabbiḥ biḥamdi rabbika wāstaḡfirhu ʔinnahu kāna tawwāban
  then glorify the praises of your Lord and seek His forgiveness, for certainly He is ever Accepting of Repentance.
oft-returning, those who turn in repentance
- 609–632 CE, Qur'an, 2:222:
  إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ التَّوَّابِينَ وَيُحِبُّ الْمُتَطَهِّرِينَ
  ʔinna l-laha yuḥibbu at-tawwābīna wayuḥibbu l-mutaṭahhirīna
  Surely Allah loves those who always turn to Him in repentance and those who purify themselves.
