Chaozhou

@The dog2 Hi, in the video, it seems like 潮州話=Teochew in general. RcAlex36 (talk) 18:02, 8 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

Also @Justinrleung. RcAlex36 (talk) 18:11, 8 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
@RcAlex36: Maybe, although I think he does kind of target Chaozhou (like in the video on 家己人, saying that using 家己人 to mean 自己 differentiates Chaozhou from other Teochew-speaking regions). — justin(r)leung (t...) | c=› } 18:13, 8 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
@RcAlex36: I know he's from Chenghai, but I think he's talking about the Chaozhou dialect in his videos. Usually, people from China will say 潮汕話 to refer to Teochew in general. See this for another example when he talks about 家己人, when he mentions how people from Chaozhou use it differently from people from Shantou and Chenghai. And see this where he focuses on Chaozhou pronunciation, then later talks about how Chenghai pronunciation is different. The dog2 (talk) 18:18, 8 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
