Akin to Lithuanian lė̃kti (“to fly”), 3sg. lẽkia, Latvian lèkt (“to jump, (rarely) to fly”), 3sg. lec, Ancient Greek ληκάω (lēkáō, “to dance to music”), Middle High German lecken (“to hop”).
