• The quote in this article (сверхъестественный) says:

  На хорошо́ вы́бритом лице́ его́ помеща́лись сверхъесте́ственных разме́ров очки́ в чёрной рогово́й опра́ве (Na xorošó výbritom licé jevó pomeščálisʹ sverxʺjestéstvennyx razmérov očkí v čórnoj rogovój opráve)

• My copy of the book (new three days ago) says (if I have copied correctly – I am very new to Russian!):

  Пе́рвые из них – … – … был ма́ленького ро́ста …, а аккура́тно вы́бритое лицо́ его́ украша́ли сверхъесте́ственных разме́ров очки́ в чёрной рогово́й опра́ве (Pérvyje iz nix – … – … byl málenʹkovo rósta …, a akkurátno výbritoje licó jevó ukrašáli sverxʺjestéstvennyx razmérov očkí v čórnoj rogovój opráve).

So you are right, it is more than just a one word change. I suspect it is a matter of a different edition, but my Russian is not yet good enough to identify the relevant details. Ideally the quotation would specify the edition used. PJTraill (talk) 23:26, 18 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
