In reference to the English word of "Boy." A word that comes from the dialect of Hawaiian slang language which is also referred to as Pidgin English. Very commonly written and spoken in the islands of Hawaii.
shouldn't flava flav's usage of the word boi be addressed?

Boi is not English; the word "boi" is West Frisian and is translatable to "boy" in Modern English. 67.183.157.148 22:32, 9 June 2010 (UTC)
I don't know wiki stuff, so I am not editing the definition. Instead I must say this definition needs additional work: The link to Wikipedia's boi is very generic. One that needs to be added directly here (definition) is http://en.wikipedia.orghttps://dictious.com/en/Boi_(sexual_slang) (citations going back to 2005) Then dictionary.reference.com (dictionary.com): http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/boi Then I don't know if slang-ish terms are allowed here, but the current definition on wiktionary is slang-ish: http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=boi http://lesbianlife.about.com/od/trans/g/Boi.htm http://www.doubletongued.org/index.php/dictionary/boi/ (citations going back to 1997) http://www.internetslang.com/BOI.asp (one of the few definitions that agree with one of the ones here) M-W does not yet list it at all. In general, the currently accepted term refers to a boyish girl or girlish boy. Often Transgender. The term is used in sexually progressive communities i.e. BDSM and GLBTQI/LGBTQIA - Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Questioning or Queer, Intersexed, ally or aware ---- Pilcrow deleted this from the main page, with the reason "Use the discussion page" and never copied it here. Luckily, I had one more edit or the wiktionary community may not have been notified of the need for a change. — This unsigned comment was added by 98.163.234.12 (talk) at 06/June/2012.
