I'm not nominating this on RfD or RfV, since I know this phrase is considerd a proverb (the American Heritage Dictionary labels it as such), but is it really? Honestly, sounds more like a SoP to me. Or does it have some distinct connotation that I'm not aware of?--TBC 21:27, 29 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
- I think that Wiktionary includes proverbs, so as a proverb, it is included. Conrad.Irwin 21:29, 29 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
- I know. I'm not questioning its inclusion or anything (hence why I didn't go to RfD or RfV). I'm just wondering if there's some sort of connotation associated with it.--TBC 21:33, 29 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
