Italian: Having tener and tenere presente should suffice. We probably don't want hundreds of apocopic forms. --I learned some phrases (talk) 08:39, 16 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

At the moment we are rather inconsistent. We have andare al fresco but not andar al fresco. Conversely, we have andar per acqua but not andare per acqua. I think it can be argued that andare al fresco = andare + al fresco. (I also think that the definition “To go to sea” for andar per acqua is misleading; it normally just means “to travel by boat”.) After getting rid of such sums of parts, how many apoplectic forms would we really need? Is it hundreds?  --Lambiam 10:09, 22 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
I think that we should include apocopic forms of the base verb (where they exist) - this sort of thing is just SoP - delete. SemperBlotto (talk) 05:16, 25 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
