This is a template used to format Spanish quotations from the first part of Miguel de Cervantes novel Don Quijote.

This template is for only the first part of the novel, published in 1605. For the second part, use {{RQ:Cervantes Don Quijote II}}.

The template may be used without parameters, but it is preferred that the following parameter for linking to Spanish Wikisource be included:

chapter number (use capital Roman numerals)

|passage=

quoted passage

|translation=

translated passage

Do not include the volume number.

Example:
