This template generates IPA for Sranan Tongo entries. Supports both standard and pre-1986 ("Dutch") spellings. See Wiktionary:Sranan Tongo entry guidelines for the phonological analysis used.
Parameters
|1=(optional)- Specify respellings here. Defaults to page name. To manually specify syllable breaks, use
.(for example,gen.gi), and to manually specify stress, use_preceding the stressed syllable (for example,sra_nan). For Dutch spellings, all instances of ⟨o⟩ for ou̯ in closed syllables should be changed to ⟨ou⟩, ɛ ɔ should be transcribed as ⟨è⟩ and ⟨ò⟩, and circumflexes should be included for long vowels. ⟨g⟩ and ⟨i⟩ used for k and e should be normalised to ⟨k⟩ and ⟨e⟩. |2=(optional)- Specify the spelling system used. Use
0for standard (default) spelling and1for pre-1986 ("Dutch") spelling.
