Hi, thanks for your contributions, but please do not change /ə(ɹ)/ or /əɹ/ to /ɚ/ as there was consensus that /ə(ɹ)/ or /əɹ/ should be used instead: see "Appendix:English pronunciation#Vowels". Also, /ə(ɹ)/ indicates that in some accents the /ɹ/ is pronounced while in others it is not, so it is incorrect to replace it with /ɚ/ which indicates that /ɹ/ is always pronounced. To ask a question about this or raise a matter for discussion, please post a message at "Wiktionary:Beer parlour". Thanks. — Sgconlaw (talk) 22:47, 2 February 2024 (UTC)
I requested a week ago that you not make the above change without discussion, but unfortunately you have not participated in the discussion at the Beer Parlour and continued to make this change. I therefore have no choice but to mass revert all your changes, and to impose a block on your editing privileges. Please discuss the matter at the Beer Parlour and obtain consensus from the community before you proceed. Thank you. — Sgconlaw (talk) 12:29, 9 February 2024 (UTC)
