No problem. मैं तो बस जानना चाहता था कि आपको हिंदी आती है या नहीं। :) —Aryaman (मुझसे बात करो) 06:28, 4 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
btw अब Template:gu-new decl और conj arguments भी लेता है। —Aryaman (मुझसे बात करो)
@Aryamanarora. That's good. Btw conj is also being discussed at Talk:બોલવું. After User:DerekWinters finalises the issues, it will be ready. I do understand Hindi so OK if you answer in it. Please also provide some documentation to know how to use Template:gu-new because it is still bit confusing for me. How to add root for decl and conj? I think /IPA/ can also be handled by template is programmed to do so. Regards,--Nizil Shah (talk) 06:55, 4 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
@Nizil Shah: I noticed that discussion. I've added an example for બોલવું in the documentation. Since things haven't been finalized yet, all the "decl" and "conj" arguments do is add the ====Declension/Conjugation==== header and the contents of the argument. So for બોલવું conj={{gu-conj-c|બોલ|બોલ}}. I agree that the IPA can be automated, for Hindi I have made Module:hi-IPA that is (supposed to be) transcluded on every Hindi page as {{hi-IPA}}. Gujarati can use the same module with some minor changes, since all the module does is convert the transliteration to IPA characters and add syllable breaks. —Aryaman (मुझसे बात करो) 07:24, 4 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
@Aryamanarora. Thank you for adding example to understand it better. Examples of adjective, nouns etc will also help. For conj, decl etc. I will ping you after issues are discussed and solved. You may work on /IPA/ module as Hindi and Gujarati alphabets are almost similar and produces almost similar IPA. I will be happy to help. Thank you, again. :)--Nizil Shah (talk) 07:35, 4 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
No need to thank me, यह तो मेरा फ़र्ज़ है :) The IPA module will be up in a few minutes, I'll put some questions there. —Aryaman (मुझसे बात करो) 11:32, 4 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
I will be happy to answer your questions. Thank You तो बनता है !--Nizil Shah (talk) 11:43, 4 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

કચ્છી, ભીલી, ઇત્યાદિ

તમારી પાસે કાંઈ કચ્છી, ભીલી, મેમોની, ઇત્યાદિનાં સ્રોતો છે? કે તમને એમાંથી અકે ય આવડે છે? DerekWinters (talk) 17:34, 4 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

I have lived in Bhili area in past but have no knowledge of it. I do understand basic Kutchi as I have lived in Kutch but it is written in Gujarati as well as Sindhi script so could not read if in Sindhi script. I don't know Memoni (મેમણી). All this Gujarati related languages/dialects are not taught as a part of Gujarati language education so have almost no idea beyond personal experience. -Nizil Shah (talk) 21:10, 4 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Question

Hi! I have a question about Gujarati. Does બંને (banne) mean "both"? Is it declined like an adjective or not? (like સારું, સારો, સારી for different genders) —AryamanA (मुझसे बात करेंयोगदान) 18:47, 27 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

@Aryamanarora. Yes, બંને (banne) mean "both". It does not declined like an adjective. It is same for different genders. Feel free to ask. Regards,--Nizil Shah (talk) 04:38, 28 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
