For future reference, when a source cites a word as "pata-" or "eka-", this does not mean that the Hittite lemma is "pa-ta" or "e-ka". What the authors are citing there are the stems. We lemmatize words at their nominative singular form, which is given in the references. Also, be careful with the grammatical gender, not al nouns are common, e.g "eka-" is neuter. --Tom 144 (𒄩𒇻𒅗𒀸) 03:34, 10 July 2018 (UTC)

Because you are adding translations in a large number of languages, I'm going to assume that you sourced them from Wikipedia. That isn't bad per se, but it requires due diligence that those translations are attested and it's usually better to also use an independent source. Wikipedia titles are often made-up protologisms, even when equivalent terms exist in the language. ←₰-→ Lingo Bingo Dingo (talk) 17:37, 30 November 2020 (UTC)
Hi! It's nice that you're doing this work, but I would ask you to think carefully about what you are suggesting. For example you added "fascism" as a synonym of alt-right, which isn't accurate at all. I've also seen you adding (basically) "leftist" category to things that might be topics that are politically argued about, in the year 2016 or 2021. Does this mean those words are really leftist words? Maybe. Or maybe not. Just think about it. Thanks for your work. Equinox ◑ 01:11, 9 December 2021 (UTC)

Please stop adding these to pages. þ, ð and z are completely regular letters in (standardized) Old Norse, like q or x or z in English. The "terms spelled with X" category should be used where the spelling is unusual/using a rare letter.
If you feel like you desperately need to manually add categories, you can add Category:Old Norse runic forms to the pages that lack it! That would be much more useful than this. Thanks, ᛙᛆᚱᛐᛁᚿᛌᛆᛌ ᛭ Proto-Norsing ᛭ Ask me anything 08:35, 2 March 2022 (UTC)
Why is this category growing with all these hardly relevant entries all of a sudden? --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 09:47, 21 March 2022 (UTC)
Hi, I think it is quite redundant to categories alternative forms of a term into topical categories. Having the form which is given the main lemma status in the category is much more meaningful, and some words have really quite a lot of altforms that it wouldn't make sense at all to put them all in categories. Thanks, —Svārtava (t/u) • 15:29, 6 June 2022 (UTC)
Please don't add (and in particular, don't mass-add) translations in languages that you don't know. Please be advised that translations also have to be attestable: WT:TRANS: " words added to translation tables are subject to attestation requirements as well." — Fytcha〈 T | L | C 〉 17:11, 10 June 2022 (UTC)
Hi, just asking if you can please be a bit more cautious when adding synonyms on political slang definitions. An example that I just changed: patsoc and tankie are both slang for different Marxist-Leninist groups, and most patsocs are probably tankies, but the vast majority of tankies are not patsocs, so implying that they're synonyms could be very misleading. Thank you! Zacanger (talk) 04:12, 24 July 2022 (UTC)
Hello,
I am not happy for you to take on this. You haven't done enough analysis and checking. There are many overlaps. Russian archaic month names don't necessarily coincide with other Slavic month names and may mean a different month or mean more than one month at different periods or according to different sources. That's why I wiped out edits by an IP (who also created {{list:Gregorian calendar months/ru/archaic}}
(now deleted) at some stage and started adding slowing my own, e.g. at се́чень (séčenʹ). As you can see, it can mean both "January" and "February" You should be more responsible and do what you can verify. @Tetromino, Benwing2: FYI. Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 00:52, 28 July 2022 (UTC)
Hey, I saw your work with Tengrism, and I was wondering if Tengri Tagh is derived from Uyghur or from Turkic or another language. Please modify the etymology to make it correct if you have any opinion. Thanks!--Geographyinitiative (talk) 00:14, 9 July 2023 (UTC)
"My favourite languages: Ukrainian" - pffff, Polish (or Czech or Russian) is much more interesting and there's more resources lo learn it. Start editting Polish lemmas, thx. PatkaSsie (talk) 15:25, 10 November 2023 (UTC)
I couldn't find any durably archived uses of Ukropium. I found one usage on Twitter and one on Reddit, but these are not durably archived. I found a cartoon at Know your Meme, but it is not quotable since the word is part of an image. Could you add an example? That way, if the word is still in use a year or so from now it will be easy to verify. Thanks, Cnilep (talk) 04:05, 30 November 2023 (UTC)
Hi. You deleted all the blank lines between sections when you edited пизда. Please don't do that. Benwing2 (talk) 05:18, 15 July 2024 (UTC)
Thank you for offering to do gnome work on Armenian, however there are many nuances which are too complicated to explain to non-native speakers. You may introduce mistakes. I have to ask you not to edit Armenian entries. Vahag (talk) 13:08, 21 November 2024 (UTC)
