Well, personally, I wouldn't trust what people write on the Internet on spelling matters. All verbs in -λλω are spelled with double λ (e.g. βάλλω, ανατέλλω, ψάλλω, αγγέλλω) in the present tense (except δε με μέλει: I don't care). Υou could also google "παραγγέλλει" vs "παραγγέλει" etc. I don't know if there is a policy about common errors. Maybe a usage note in the entry should be enough. --flyax 16:11, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
As I said, I don't know much about policies. However, I don't agree with you. In my opinion, only valid entries should exist in a dictionary, wiktionary included. Otherwise we'd have endless discussions whether a misspelling is common or not and this could prevent us from achieving our main purpose, that is to add the thousands of Greek words still missing. So, as a rule, I believe that we should use redirects or usage notes or something like that, but not entries. The issue of αβγό (and αυγό, αυτί and αφτί, τσιγκούνης and τσιγγούνης) is different, as, in my opinion, both are valid entries and the people who could justify their choice for using either of them are very very few. Hello (long time no see). I was wondering about your L2 change to άπαξ. The Ancient Greek spelling is ἅπαξ (hápax). Hi, the infamous "Conversion script" moved some Greek entries to lower case that maybe shouldn't be; I noted when my automation deleted the UC redirects. See Κινέζικα, Ιταλικός. Maybe need to be moved back? Robert Ullmann 06:54, 28 April 2008 (UTC)

Hi Saltmarsh,
When I followed a link on en.wikipedia that took me to a page in wiktionary, the page opened up stating I had a message (I'm a user on WP, but not WT). When I tried to follow the link to the page (this web address) my WebTV server (yes, I don't use an actual computer) told me the page couldn't be found. When I tried to go to the link called "last change" (just to the left of the "message" link), a page opened up saying there was a glitch that should be reported to an administrator, with a link to the 'find a user/administrator/etc.' page. I chose your name because I liked it (something like I might have chosen). So I'm doing my Wikiduty and reporting it to you. Here is a link to the page with the message about the glitch.
